Spinning Rods

A spinning rod is a good choice if you want to avoid thinking and also want long, secure casts in strong wind. It's always a tricky question, whether to choose casting or spinning when you're buying new gear. Of course, there are pros and cons with both, but the advantage many see with spinning is that you have the low center of gravity that comes with a hanging reel, this gives a natural pendulum effect that favors the softbait perch angler. Also, the risk of getting your line tangled is minimal, compared to casting. Spinning has been the favorite choice for fishing perch and sea trout.
