Wading Jackets

Wading jackets, as the name suggests, are jackets designed to be worn when wading. Wading jackets are generally a little shorter than normal jackets and rarely go below the waist. This is to keep the lower edge of the jacket dry when you are out wading to avoid moisture being transported upwards and into the waders. These are usually rain and waterproof and come in several different models with different numbers of pockets as well as anorak models. There is a wide range of waders from brands such as Simms, Vision, Patagonia and Guideline.
