Umpqua flugor

Dennis Black founded Umpqua Feather Merchants back in 1972. Dennis had a core belief that high quality flies could be tied in Asia, just as well as they could be tied at home in the United States. Between 1950 and 1970, it was always the flies of local leaders that were sold in the stores! This of course made it difficult to get larger volumes and Dennis really saw the need to be able to offer better delivery than was possible at the time. He solved the problem and the Umpqua is now one of the best known flies on the market!
