ACLIMA SINCE 1939. Aclima AS has been owned by the Johansen family since 1939. For three generations we have been an important and competent Norwegian textile manufacturer. The experience and knowledge that has been built up over several generations is invaluable to their work in keeping people warm and dry. Their focus ranges from preschool children to flame retardant and insulating underwear for the Armed Forces. The Wool Specialist: Aclima's vision is to get more people outdoors - Make it comfortable to be outdoors! This is realised through their business concept. Aclima will combine knowledge of market needs, fibre composition, knitting and design to develop and sell functional underwear for outdoor use. Aclima specialises in wool base layers. Merino wool provides the best comfort in most weather and temperature conditions and for most activities. As you may already know, wool has a unique ability to keep you warm even if you get wet. With Aclima's product range we have created comfortable and durable products that provide the best breathability. Function has always been the first priority for Aclima. Aclima is located at Krøderen, Buskerud just next to Norefjell. This is a great area for product development and for testing products in summer and winter. The Aclima collection covers outdoor activities for the whole year with base layers, mid layers, socks and hats to keep you and your family comfortable when you're outdoors.
