The super light MGL spool has a low weight and when casted it spins extremely fast! This means that you have incredibly good control even when fishing with light baits. The Curado MGL K is equipped with the SVS Infinty brake system, which gives you almost endless setting options for your drag.
Like its cousins in the Curado family, this is very grip-friendly and has high comfort in the hand. The reel housing is built in the light but torsionally rigid Ci4 + material which gives the reel extremely high performance when you fight big and strong fish.
Cranking the Curado MGL K is like a dream! This is achieved through the gear system Micromodule II and X-ship which provides incredibly smooth running while giving brutal raw strength in the gear package. The gears in the reel are made of brass and are really strong, the ball bearings are of the highest quality and are encapsulated, stainless steel variants.
