Wiggler

Wiggler was founded in the early 1950s in Gothenburg and began mainly with casting sinks, jigs and the like. The Wiggler lure and Viking Herring were some of the first lures to be produced and are still on the market! In 1987 the Lindholm family bought the company, which was located in Hisingen in Gothenburg. In the early 90's the business moved to new premises in Stora Höga, just south of Stenungsund. The father in the Bruno family was a man who lived for sport fishing and was a pioneer in many ways. He was a recognised salesman and had a great talent for languages. This opened the door to Finland, which became an important market for Wiggler. Wiggler began mainly as a producer of fishing products, many classic lures were cast at the factory in Stora Höga. The sons produced Viking Herring lures to capacity and fitted split rings and hooks to 100s of Wiggler and Viking Herring lures per day. In the mid 90's Wiggler started to expand by getting different agencies e.g. fishing hooks from Mustad in Norway and Stroft fishing line from Germany. In 2004 the company was bought by the current owners, the brothers Hans & Leif Lindholm, sons of Bruno Lindholm.
