Any presentation of flies that mimic baitfish in saltwater, white streamers will be well represented. It is undoubtedly white that dominates in such a collection. Herring Zonker has a dark back and red gills, but it is mainly white. Just as a black zonker can be considered a regular fly in any streamer box, a white is also considered a natural part of the regular range.

This is a fly that you can use throughout the season, even as the water approaches the freezing point.
