Söder’s PikeFight – Europe’s Most Entertaining Pike Fishing Competition!

PikeFight is Söder Sportfiske’s own filmed pike fishing competition, in which Team Söder Sportfiske challenges some of the biggest brands in the sport fishing industry. Over several intense competition days, the teams battle to determine who is best at finding, enticing and landing the biggest pike.

Since its premiere in 2016, PikeFight has become a recurring tradition for pike anglers in Sweden and across Europe. The series combines fierce competition with the joy of fishing, plenty of drama and practical inspiration for anyone looking to improve their pike fishing.

Strategy, Big Pike and Fierce Competition

The competition between the participating teams is incredibly tough. Each team features some of Sweden’s finest pike anglers, with extensive experience in adapting their lures, equipment and strategies to the prevailing conditions.

In PikeFight, you’ll see everything from classic jerkbait fishing and large soft plastics to swimbaits, tail baits, spinnerbaits and other modern pike lures. The teams search for pike in both shallow and deep water, constantly adjusting their presentation, retrieve speed, colour selection and fishing depth according to the weather, water temperature and activity level of the fish.

The result is a competition series where you can watch some of the best pike lures on the market being used in real-world conditions by anglers who know how to get the most out of every lure—all while under intense pressure and with cameras constantly following them.

PikeFight takes place over several intense competition days on carefully selected Swedish waters. The teams must make quick decisions about fishing locations, lure selection and tactics to score as many points as possible while also hunting for the biggest pike of the competition.

Conditions can change quickly. An area that produces fish in the morning may be empty only a few hours later, while an unexpected change of lure or location can decide the entire competition. The combination of knowledge, experience, teamwork and adaptability ultimately determines who gets to lift the PikeFight trophy.
