Summary

Third generation double-handed fly rod with graphene-reinforced blank for strength, fast recovery and sensitivity. Smooth medium-fast action handles many techniques and fly lines.

Productinformation

XO III double-handed rods bring the third generation of this flagship series into the realm of serious salmon and sea trout fishing. The blank is built on upgraded carbon with graphene-reinforced resin, giving high strength, durability and a very quick recovery without feeling overly stiff in the hand.

The medium-fast action delivers smooth, progressive loading that suits a wide range of Spey, Scandi and Skagit-style fly lines. This makes it easy to adapt to different pools, flows and presentations, whether you are casting compact heads or longer shooting heads.

The blank comes natural, unsanded and unpainted to retain a crisp action and reduce unnecessary weight. A novel down-locking precision-machined aluminium reel seat secures the reel close to the butt, improving balance with modern large-arbour fly reels. High-quality Portuguese cork with rubber reinforcements offers good grip and long-term wear resistance.

Titanium stripping guides keep line friction and corrosion to a minimum, while the supplied triangle Cordura tube and cloth bag protect the rod on the way to and from the river. Designed and developed in Finland, XO III is aimed at anglers who demand reliable gear for demanding conditions.
