The blank comes natural, unsanded and unpainted to retain a crisp action and reduce unnecessary weight. A novel down-locking precision-machined aluminium reel seat secures the reel close to the butt, improving balance with modern large-arbour fly reels. High-quality Portuguese cork with rubber reinforcements offers good grip and long-term wear resistance.
