Vision Grand Daddy+ Intermediate

Grand Daddy+ is built for predator fishing with big, air-resistant flies when control and turnover really matter. The compact 8.5 m head with a strong front taper loads the fly rod quickly and turns over bulky patterns with less effort, even in wind. A new, more supple cold-water coating keeps the running line straighter and helps to reduce tangles when you are shooting long casts.

The increased head weight makes the line easier to cast for many anglers, while the slightly longer overall length gives experienced casters more running line to work with. A low stretch core improves contact, so takes are easier to feel and hook-sets more direct, and it also transfers casting energy efficiently. The sinking versions use Sliding Density™ for a smooth transition in sink rate towards the tip, while SloMo and intermediate models are traditional full-sink profiles. Finished with strong, ready-made loops and clear line weight markings, it is quick to rig and simple to identify on the water.
