Umpqua Kamikaze Sculpin Olive

Umpqua Fly Kamikaze Sculpin is a zonker-style streamer designed to imitate mottled sculpin and a wide range of small baitfish. With its rabbit strip body and balanced weighting, it offers a very lifelike swimming and jigging action that triggers strikes from trout, perch and other predators in both rivers and stillwaters.

The fly is built around tough pseudo eyes that resist chipping and damage, even after repeated takes. The weight is placed close to the hook eye, so the pattern dives head-first and works in a clear jigging motion on each strip or lift. This makes it suitable for fishing close to the bottom, under overhanging banks or along structure where baitfish and sculpin usually hold.

A palmered mallard collar gives a natural mottled look and extra movement, while the 100% rabbit fur head is created in a dubbing loop to keep volume and motion without adding unnecessary weight. Combined with subtle flash, the Kamikaze Sculpin delivers a compact but visible baitfish profile that works well in coloured or clear water.

Available in Barred Gold, Barred Grey and Barred Olive, you can match different water colours, light conditions and prey fish. Sizes 4 and 8 cover many situations from smaller streams to larger rivers and stillwaters.
