Henry’s Fork Foam Stone is a clever foam stonefly pattern built for selective trout wherever golden stones or salmonflies hatch. Inspired by the classic CHUBBY CHERNOBYL, it rides high straight from the box, making it easy to track in rough pocket water and along cut banks. The foam body and generous wing keep it floating through long drifts, even with a dropper tied on.
Gold versions in size 8 and 12 imitate golden stoneflies in a wide range of river sizes, while the salmon colour in size 6 is ideal when bigger salmonflies are on the menu. When trout shy away from high-riding dries, simply trim the wing to make it sit lower in the surface film. That quick tweak often turns refusals into solid takes during pressured or low, clear conditions.
