Umpqua Duracell Bomb Brown

This competition-inspired nymph is built for getting down fast and drawing takes when fish are pressured or picky. The tungsten bead bombs the fly quickly into the strike zone, making it very effective on euro nymphing leaders or as the anchor on a two fly nymph rig.

The red trigger wire and flashy ice dub body give just enough attraction to be seen in broken water, while the CDC collar adds life and movement, even in slower flows. It works well fished under a dry as an indicator setup or drifted tight to the bottom in technical rivers. A practical pattern to carry in both Brown and Pheasant Tail colours, with sizes 12–14 covering most trout situations.
