Renzstein Beastly Minnow

Beastly Minnow is an easy-to-fish and durable jerkbait developed for targeting pike in shallow water. Its efficient built-in casting system delivers stable and long casts, making it easier to reach fish and place the lure accurately even in windy conditions.

The lure is weighted to Slow Float and runs at approximately 0.4–1.5 metres, making it particularly useful over vegetation, shallow flats and other areas where you want to keep the lure high in the water column. The body measures 9.5 cm without the lip and 11 cm including the lip, with a weight of 13 g.

One of Beastly Minnow's biggest strengths is how easily its action can be customised. By changing hooks and split rings, you can alter how quickly the lure rises, create a slower floating presentation or tune it towards suspending. A Beastly Tuning Weight can also be added to create a sinking presentation and adapt the lure to different depths and conditions.

For a quicker rise, try a 5 mm split ring and size 4 trebles. For a slow floating presentation, use 7 mm split rings and size 6 trebles. Thin wire can also be used to fine-tune the lure towards a suspending setup.

Beastly Minnow is completely lead-free and fitted with 2X-strength Mustad TP-78NP-BN #4 trebles together with high-quality split rings. Original hooks and split rings are also available separately.

The lure is built to withstand hard pike strikes and plenty of fishing. The colours have also been designed around different light effects – transparent areas to capture light, UV details to break up light and foil elements for additional reflection.

Beastly Minnow is available in 14 colours and is a versatile jerkbait for anglers who want to fish shallow while still being able to tune the lure's behaviour to the conditions.
