The small company with the big pike! On a cold, windy and grey January day in 1987, we two optimists take a longer lunch than usual from our more than a little boring jobs in the city of Stockholm. It's time to test the Zalt prototype 50. Why give up after only 49 failed attempts. With coats flapping in the wind, we huddle around fishing rods. Euphoria! We almost fall in from the quay at the National Museum! At last, the Zalt rocks and wobbles the way we want it to! A lot of water has passed through Stockholm's stream since then. Zalt is now Sweden's most successful pike bait ever. Word of Zalt's catching ability has spread far beyond Sweden's borders. The ambition was to make the perfect spinning lure for big pike. Zalt turned out to be equally good at trolling and jerking. Zalt's flexibility, of course, gives the small company Zalt another reason to be a bit big in the mouth.
