Trangia

The backbone of the Trangia system is the two-piece shelter. The air holes on the lower windshield are directed into the wind to increase the oxygen supply to the burner. A Trangia stove with a spirit burner runs on Tenol or T-red, fuels that are cheap, safe and readily available. The combined frying pan/lid can be placed over the cooking vessel to speed up heating and save fuel. The cooker stands firmly with the cooker on a rack lowered into the top windshield. The holders fold up when the pan is to be used. The Trangia cooker can also be fitted with LPG, multifuel or jelly burners, all of which are available as accessories in the Trangia range.
