ZENAQ Tobizo DBL is the next generation of ZENAQ’s offshore rods for heavy GT and tuna fishing. The series combines long casting, precise lure control and high lifting power for demanding fights with large fish and heavy poppers. The DBL Power Booster construction uses ZENAQ’s multilayer carbon design and high-pressure moulding technology. It combines powerful recovery with a responsive feel, allowing the blank to store substantial energy during the cast and transfer it efficiently to the lure. The same construction builds lifting power under load while helping reduce physical strain during long fights. The Tobizo DBL combines a responsive tip with a powerful lower section and efficient power transfer throughout the blank. The TC80-180G DBL is specialised for large poppers, GT and tuna fishing, including tuna up to approximately 100 kg. Its responsive blank transfers rod movement directly to the lure, supporting both aggressive popping and controlled presentations. At 8'0", it provides very good casting distance, while the powerful butt section delivers high lifting power in demanding terrain.
