Westin W8 Finesse Shad 2ND 7'5"/223cm MH 10-28g is built for anglers who want a light, responsive shad rod with serious casting ability. The advanced Toray® Torayca® T1100GC & M40JB carbon blank gives a crisp, fast action that transmits vibration from softbaits and jigheads straight into your hand.

This model handles lure weights from 10–28g, making it well suited for zander, perch and light pike fishing with shads and other soft lures. The combination of low weight and sensitivity makes it easy to detect soft takes and still set the hook efficiently, even when fishing at long distance or in deeper water.

Components are chosen to match the blank: a Fuji® T2C carbon reel seat and 360° custom screw-down carbon hood give a secure, direct connection to your spinning reel, while tangle free Fuji® SIC guides ensure clean line flow with both braid and mono. Pair the rod with a 2500–3000 size spinning reel for balanced handling on the bank or in the boat.
