Vision Hero Casette Reel Grey - #7/9

Vision Hero 7/9 Cassette is designed for stillwater anglers who use several fly line densities during a session. The semi-machined construction keeps weight down while offering a robust frame and spool, combined with a reliable disc drag that runs smooth but delivers good stopping power.

The large arbor design helps you retrieve line quickly and reduces line memory, which is useful when you are playing strong trout at close or long range. This cassette version is based on the proven Hero 7/9, with the same capacity, size and brake system that many anglers already rely on.

The reel is supplied with three clear cassettes and a practical zippered fabric pouch. The cassettes have a flat surface where you can place line ID stickers or mark them with a permanent pen, making it easy to keep track of your floating, intermediate and sinking lines. The cassette locking uses the same ring mechanism as the XLV Stillmaniac reel; you only need to loosen the ring one turn to swap cassettes, without removing it fully, so line changes on the bank or in a boat stay quick and secure.
