VATN Coastal Intermediate is the fly line for those who hunt sea trout on the coast and are looking for a line that loads modern fast fly rods, turns over large flies with ease and gives you the possibility of accuracy and length in your casts even in headwinds.

VATN Coastal Intermediate is specifically developed and designed for Scandinavian coastal fishing for sea trout. Thanks to the short and aggressive tapering in the front, the line turns over large and wind-catching flies easily. The shorter front taper in combination with the weight distribution of the lump also means that the line turns over well and shoots really well when fishing in heavy weather.

With a sink rate of 2.5cm/second, this is a real all-round fly line for coastal fishing for sea trout. This will fish well in really shallow bays while at the same time, with thinner flies, it provides the opportunity for effective fishing on slopes and other deeper areas.
