Umpqua Fly Cuda Flourescent Green Tandem is a long, needlefish-style saltwater fly designed for targeting aggressive barracuda. Its slim profile and fluorescent green colour trigger hard strikes when fished at high speed over flats, edges and reef structures.

The fly is tied around 8" long, giving a very realistic baitfish silhouette that barracuda recognise and chase down. The tandem rig uses two saltwater-resistant hooks to improve hook-up rates on fast, slashing bites and to keep fish pinned during the fight.

Despite its length, this pattern casts well with suitable saltwater fly gear, allowing you to cover water efficiently and present the fly quickly to cruising fish. Fish it with fast strips and short pauses to imitate a fleeing needlefish and provoke reaction takes from following barracuda.
