Chewy’s Cyclops Chouinard Bonefish from Umpqua is a subtle, low-splash flats fly developed for demanding bonefish on clear, shallow water. Built as a modern alternative to the classic Gotcha, it keeps the proven profile but replaces the bulky, noisy beadchain eyes with compact Cyclops beads.

The slimmer bead design lets the fly land softly with much less plop, making it well suited for spooky bonefish on pressured Bahamian-style flats and similar environments. Once in the water, the fly tracks straight, sinks at a controlled rate and gives a natural shrimp-like movement that triggers takes without spooking the fish.
