Summary

Adjustable, knotless wool strike indicator system for stealthy trout nymphing. Lands softly, is highly sensitive and easy to rig and remove.

Productinformation

The TSIC New Zealand Strike Indicator Kit XL gives you a highly adaptable and stealthy strike indicator system for technical trout fishing. Using premium wool and micro tubing, it lands softly on the surface, so you can nymph shallow, spooky water without alarming the fish.

The indicator is fully adjustable along the leader, allowing you to present your nymph at the right depth and keep it in the strike zone longer. The 100% knotless attachment method avoids weak points in the leader, reducing the risk of losing strong fish and preventing kinks or damage to your taper.

The wool is very buoyant and super sensitive, showing even subtle takes when trout sip or gently mouth the fly. It casts lightly and naturally, behaving much like a dry fly in the air, which makes long, accurate presentations easier.

You can build multicolour indicators for better visibility in different light conditions and trim them to the exact size you need – from small and discreet for size 22 nymphs to longer, more buoyant setups for heavier flies. The kit includes spare wool and tubing, giving you good value and enough material for many sessions on the river.
