The Fishmongers Creek turns a fishing trip with friends into a fast, tactical board game. You compete as sport anglers on a pristine river, reeling in fish for gold while a slightly unhinged fishmonger claims to own the water and lures you onto his boardwalk. After three rounds, the angler who has pushed furthest along the boardwalk wins.
Each fish you land gives unique abilities, so every catch is a choice: build your own engine, block a rival, or challenge an opponent for that key fish. The game scales from relaxed family play to proper strategy, depending on how hard you lean into the tactics. Compact, robust components and a foldable 50 x 50 cm game board make it easy to bring to the cabin, the caravan, or the fishing lodge.
The game language is English, but there is a Swedish rules video online and Swedish text for all cards on Instagram, which helps mixed groups get started quickly. Designed in Sweden, illustrated with a playful hand, and crafted for anglers who like both tactics and table talk.
