Simms Wading Staff Aluminum Black

This modern wading tool combines lightweight, highly durable 7075 aluminium tubing with a coated stainless-steel cable and a ribbed closed-cell foam handle. The extended handle provides multiple grab heights, while the simple, firm deployment system opens and closes in seconds. It includes a built-in wrist strap, leash and neoprene sheath. Printed inch markings provide a depth gauge, and the aluminium tip is replaceable and interchangeable. To deploy the tool, grip the orange aluminium ring and pull down on the slider shaft until the spring-loaded pin pops out and locks the shaft sections together. To collapse it, press the spring-loaded pin so the slider shaft can slide up, releasing the tension holding the sections together. Pull the sections apart, bring each section together, fold the tool and re-sheath it. The deployed length is 54.75 in (140 cm), while the collapsed length is 14 in (35.5 cm). Item #: PG-14369.
