Shimano Sedona Area Special

Sedona AS is a specialised Trout Area rod series designed for ultra light fishing with small hard lures and spoons. The slim Full Carbon blank delivers a semi-parabolic action that helps you cast tiny baits with accuracy, bring them to life, and keep aggressive trout securely hooked.

Thanks to the ultra light and well-balanced blank, the rod is easy to fish with over long sessions on the trout pond or stream. The responsive action loads effortlessly, even with lures down to 0.5 g, giving you good casting distance and precise presentation with thin braided lines.

When a trout hits, the progressive bend cushions sudden head shakes and fast runs, reducing the risk of pulled hooks. Lightweight Seaguide XOHG guides with a high frame design keep the line running smoothly and minimise tangles, while the ergonomic custom reel seat and EVA/rubberised cork handle offer a secure and comfortable grip in wet conditions.
