Shimano Aero X3 Feeder Rod

Aero X3 sits in the middle of the Aero Competition rod range and offers a very strong mix of performance, versatility and model choice for modern feeder fishing. With eight different versions, it covers everything from short, accurate work on commercials to extreme distance feeder fishing on big lakes and rivers.

The blanks are built from Full Carbon and use Diaflash technology, where carbon tape is cross-wrapped on the outer layer. This reduces blank twist, gives a cleaner recovery and improves bite registration and casting accuracy. The result is a responsive rod that loads smoothly on the cast and cushions fish reliably on the fight.

Within the range you will find three Precision feeder rods for close and mid-range tactics where placement and line control are crucial. For longer chucks and heavier feeders there are five Distance models, from a very versatile 12' option up to a powerful 14' rod suited to large rivers and extreme range feeder work.

All Aero X3 feeder rods are fitted with a Fuji DPS reel seat on a quality cork/EVA handle for a secure, comfortable grip. Braid-safe Seaguide XOG guides are carefully positioned to support the blank action and help you reach consistent casting distances.
