ABC Mayfly Nymph bodies are laser-cut from Synthetic SemperSuede to help you tie highly realistic mayfly nymph imitations in just a few minutes at the vice. The soft suede moves naturally in the current and, once wet, absorbs water to create a lifelike, pulsing action that trout and grayling respond to.

The pre‑shaped bodies give you clean, consistent silhouettes every time, ideal for river and stillwater nymph patterns. Simply tie in, trim if needed and finish the thorax area with your favourite dubbing or other materials.

You can easily customise each body with waterproof marker pens to match the exact mayfly nymphs in your local water, from pale olives to darker clinger types. For extra realism, combine with Semperfli materials such as Synthetic Marabou, Scud & Boom Dubbing, Extreme String or Synthetic Peacock Herl.

A thin coat of UV resin over the back creates a durable shell and enhances the natural profile, especially on jig hook patterns with the head tied at the bend for a realistic, inverted presentation close to the bottom.
