Productinformation

The Scout Spintail is an easy-to-fish and effective bait for catching mainly perch, but also pike-perch and pike. The Scout Spintail casts far and can be fished in many different ways, either cranking it home monotonously like a spinner or jigging it like a jig (the spoon in the back rotates as it sinks). It's an incredibly effective bait for quickly scanning the water to see where the fish are. The bait is a replica of an injured lively baitfish thanks to the rear spoon which emits flashes, sounds and vibrations.

Often the strike comes when the bait is sinking so make sure you have a taut line at the crank stop when the bait falls to the bottom. A spintail can sometimes be terribly effective when nothing else works. During the summer when the fish are active, the most effective thing to do is to just crank it home and the strike will come while you are cranking. The Scout Spintail is a small, compact lure that can be thrown far and can be fished in both shallow and deep water, just adjust the size to the depth you are fishing. The Scout Spintail is available in 4 sizes 6, 10, 14 and 21g.
