Scott GT-Series Fly Rod is the latest evolution of the legendary G Series, designed for anglers who value feel, control and feedback on small to medium waters. With a deep flexing action, touch-sensitive tip and compact lengths, it excels at short accurate casts with dry flies and dry‑dropper rigs in tight cover and tricky wind.

The blank is built with Scott’s newest X-Core design, featuring ultra-thin wall construction, multi‑modulus carbon layups and ARC2 multi‑directional fibres. This gives fast recovery, higher line speed and improved tracking, while still protecting fine tippets. The redesigned hollow internal ferrules are up to 20% lighter and flex seamlessly with the blank, so these 4‑ and 5‑piece rods feel close to a one‑piece on the water.

Each rod is finished with high-grade hardware: milled aluminium reel seat with Type 3 hard coat, cocobolo wood insert, Flor grade cork grip and titanium-framed Zirconia no‑tangle stripping guides matched with Snake Brand Universal snake guides. Measuring wraps, alignment dots and hand inscription with individual serial number underline the handcrafted build from Montrose, Colorado.

Recommended line weight is 95–110 grains, making the rod suitable for modern trout fly lines when fishing dries, nymphs or light streamers. Take normal care to dry the rod after use, check ferrules regularly and avoid high-sticking to maintain performance and longevity.
