Rio Premier Flats Clear Floater Clear Tip

RIO Premier Flats Clear Floater is a floating fly line designed for stealthy presentations on the saltwater flats. With both full clear and 6 ft clear tip options, it lets you present your fly close to spooky Bonefish, Permit and other shallow-water predators without relying on an overly long leader.

The line is built on RIO's proven Flats Pro taper, combining a mid-length head with a short, powerful front taper. This gives you fast, efficient turnover of typical flats flies, whether you are making quick shots at cruising fish or reaching out with longer casts to distant targets.

Choose the full clear version for maximum camouflage in clear water, or the clear-tip version, where the subtle seafoam-coloured head behind the 6 ft clear tip helps you and your guide track the fly during the retrieve. A visual colour change between head and running line shows you exactly when to pick up and shoot line again.
