RIO Premier Dart V2.0 is a Scandinavian‑designed fly line built for anglers who need fast, powerful and accurate casts in tight situations. With its short, rear‑loaded head, it loads the rod instantly, making it perfect when backspace is limited and you need precise one‑shot overhead casts, roll casts or single‑hand Spey presentations. This line is ideal for casting heavy streamers in rivers, foam flies on lakes, and tube flies for sea trout and salmon, as well as big streamers for aggressive brown trout. The Dart V2.0 also performs exceptionally well on the coast and on wind‑exposed lakes, where its compact head design gives you the control and punch needed to turn over flies cleanly in challenging winds.

Available in two versions, you can choose a full floating line for surface and shallow presentations, or the model with a 9 ft Sink 3 tip when you need to get the fly down quickly into the strike zone. Built with RIO’s SlickCast coating, the Premier Dart V2.0 offers extremely low friction, excellent shootability, and outstanding durability, making life easier for both beginners and experienced fly anglers. Welded loops at both ends allow quick and tidy leader and backing connections, while the three‑colour design helps you instantly see the ideal head length and improve your timing and distance control.
