Modelled on the proven Elite Predator profile, Elite Warmwater Predator features a short, powerful front taper and a compact, rear‑loaded head that turns over bulky streamers, articulated patterns and weighted flies without collapsing. The extra weight concentrated towards the front of the head helps you punch through wind, roll cast from tight banks and pick up long lengths of line for quick second shots. All running lines are floating, which makes line control, mending and lifting off the water far easier than with intermediate running lines – ideal for covering water efficiently and working flies at different depths with confidence.

Every density option in the Elite Warmwater Predator range is built on RIO’s low‑stretch DirectCore for positive strip strikes, improved hook penetration and crisp casting feel, even in hot conditions where standard cores can become soft. The SlickCast coating gives an exceptionally low‑friction surface that shoots smoothly through the rod guides and resists cracking and wear, even after many days on the water. The (F/H/I) variant combines a floating body with 10 ft of Hover and 10 ft of Intermediate sink at the front, allowing you to work flies in the top 2–3 ft – ideal when fish are holding just under the surface film. The (F/I/S3) model uses a floating body with 10 ft of Intermediate and 10 ft of medium sinking (S3) at the head to probe mid‑water layers with streamers and baitfish imitations.
