Renz Shad Perch is a soft bait for anglers specifically targeting big perch. Its substantial body and oversized paddle tail create a strong profile and plenty of movement in the water, while the pronounced belly flash adds further attraction during the retrieve.

One of the key strengths of Renz Shad Perch is that its large paddle tail works effectively even with light weights. This allows the lure to be fished slowly and under control without losing its characteristic action – particularly useful when the fish are less active or when you want to keep the lure in the strike zone for longer.

Rigging can easily be adapted to the season and fishing situation. During winter, a Link Head combined with a 4/0 Wide Gape offset hook is recommended for a versatile presentation. During the rest of the year, Renz Shad Perch works extremely well on a traditional 4/0 jig head or, for example, a BKK Silent Chaser 4/0.

Because Renz Shad Perch features a large paddle tail, we recommend keeping the soft baits in their original packaging. This helps the body and paddle remain straight and ensures that the lure retains its intended swimming action.

The colour range is also being updated with several exciting options. Chartreuse/Pumpkin combines UV-active chartreuse with a Green Pumpkin back without UV. Winter Melon features a pearl-white belly and melon-coloured back with subtle glitter. Shad combines a pearl turquoise belly and transparent black back with mother of pearl glitter, plus an orange chin and paddle tail.

Kiwis has a green colour inspired by the flesh of a kiwi but changes towards brown in the water and features plenty of UV. Junebug Shiner has a transparent purple base with mother of pearl glitter that changes to an intense red in the water, also with plenty of UV.
