The Rapala Rippin Rap is a vibrating lure with a hard vibrating action that attracts fish to bite with its internal rattle balls. The Rippin' Rap works best on perch and zander, but other predatory fish will bite if it passes in front of their nose!

The Rippin Rap has a slim body and a high profile and is designed to be cast to the horizon and spun home. It has a hard vibrating action and can be heard from far away thanks to its large integrated rattle chamber.

Fishes effectively if you crank in a few feet, make a spin stop, crank again and follow up with a spin stop etc. Often the bite comes at the tip of the spinner and the steady gait really triggers the predator's bite reflexes. So make sure you hold on tight to the rod!

The Rippin Rap can also be used as a balancing jig and fished vertically under the boat or from the ice.
