PENN Squadron IV Travel Boat Cast

The PENN® Squadron IV Travel Boat series offers a compact 4-piece design without compromising on power or fishability. Built on slim but strong 24T carbon blanks, these rods cover everything from wreck drifting with lures to classic bottom fishing for cod, ling and pollock, and the heavier models have the backbone needed for halibut in Norway.

The action is tuned to match the regular Squadron IV Boat rods, keeping the same handle and reel seat positions for a familiar feel on the rail. High-density, ergonomically shaped EVA handles provide a secure grip and are easy to rinse clean after a day in the salt. PENN® Dura-Guide one-piece guides in stainless steel handle braid and mono with ease and are designed to withstand rough boat use and transport.

Thanks to the 4-piece construction, the rod packs down small for travel by car, train or plane, making it a practical choice for anglers heading to coastal destinations or Nordic big-fish trips. A gimbal with cover adds control in a fighting belt when you are locked into bigger fish.
