Summary

Robust 2-piece boat rod with 24T carbon blank, PENN Dura-Guides and EVA handle. Ideal for wreck drifting and bottom fishing in saltwater.

Productinformation

The PENN® Squadron IV Boat series delivers reliable performance for a wide range of saltwater situations. Built on slim yet powerful 24T carbon blanks, these 2-piece rods are well suited for wreck drifting with lures as well as classic bottom fishing for cod, ling and pollock. The heavier models also handle the demands of halibut fishing in Norway and other Nordic waters.

Each rod is fitted with PENN® Dura-Guide one-piece guides in stainless steel, designed to cope with all common line types and the knocks of life on a boat. The strong, saltwater-resistant construction makes these guides highly durable and low-maintenance.

The ergonomically shaped high-density EVA handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, even when wet, and is easy to rinse clean after a day at sea. A practical gimbal with cover allows you to fish efficiently with a fighting belt when battling strong fish. Overall, this series offers dependable boat rods for anglers who want solid tackle for rough conditions.
