The PENN® Conflict LE Boat combo is a factory-matched setup for anglers starting out with boat fishing. It combines a 7ft2 boat rod with a 6000-size reel pre-spooled with abrasion-resistant 4-carrier braid, allowing a rig to be tied on and dropped straight to the marks without additional setup. The fast-action rod has a responsive tip for bite detection, while its powerful mid and butt sections lift fish away from wrecks, reefs and rough ground. Saltwater-ready hardware helps maintain smooth line flow and resist corrosion, while the EVA grips remain secure in wet, bumpy conditions. Two line classes cover general boat-fishing applications: 20–30lb for drifting and lighter leads, or 30–50lb when tides strengthen, depths increase or larger fish are being targeted. This entry-level combo is ready to use from box to boat.
