The Orvis Clearwater II–IV series offers reliable large-arbour fly reels for a wide range of European fly fishing, from light trout tactics to heavier streamer and salmon work. Built from robust aluminium, these reels combine low weight with the strength needed for demanding conditions by river, lake or coast.

The fully enclosed Rulon® and stainless steel disc drag provides a smooth, consistent braking curve, giving good control during long runs and sudden lunges close to the net. The large-arbour spool design improves line pick-up and helps reduce line memory, which is especially useful when casting fine leaders or fishing in cold water.

Conversion from right-hand to left-hand retrieve is straightforward, allowing you to set up the reel to match your preferred fighting style. Choose size II for line classes #3–5, size III for #5–7 and size IV for #7–9, depending on your target species and water type. A practical, grey finish keeps reflections low and fits well with most modern fly rod designs.
