OPST Commando Tip are long and easy to throw sinking tips with different sinking speeds. Choose the tip according to the depth and speed of the current!
Productinformation
With a length difference of 2.5-4.5ft, it makes a big difference to casting! These tips are much easier to cast in combination with the OPST Skagit Commando head 175-275grain compared to the 12' tips. The extended length of 2.5ft (compared to the micro tips which are 5ft) makes for a better and safer cast.
These tips of course work very well for skagit lines of other brands as well!
OPST 7,5ft Skagit Commando Tips are available in 3 different sink rate units Riffle (S2), Run (S4) and Bucket (S6) where Riffle is the one that fishes the shallowest and Bucket fishes the deeper holes that are desired to be accessed.
For best storage we recommend the OPST Sink Tip Wallet which is a very handy tip wallet with room for up to 9 different tips.
Sink rate: (NOTE - sink rate is in still water, strong current slows down the sink rate.)
