Productinformation

Muddler Minnow was designed by Don Gapen in the United States in 1937 to mimic a small prey found in the rivers over there. The colors of the fly and the broad head are similar to the Steinsmett found in rivers with us. Although the fly is a banner, originally intended to imitate predatory fish, it has proven to function as an imitation of grasshoppers and large spring flies to name a few. This black edition is made for evening and night fishing and is a very good fly for both salmon and sea trout.

Muddler Minnow is a fly for active fishing with retraction, preferably in somewhat rough weather in calm waters. In rivers you can fish it with traditional "turns" and embankments. The wide head of the fly moves a lot and makes it easier for the fish to detect the fly in the water!
