Minn Kota Ultrex is a bow-mounted trolling motor with a cable-operated foot pedal for precise, fast steering and gas-spring-assisted Lift-Assist for easier deployment and stowing. Spot-Lock® uses GPS to hold the boat’s position accurately, while JOG moves the anchor position without setting a new Spot-Lock. Autopilot maintains the selected course, and Drift Mode lets you choose where the boat drifts regardless of wind and current. The built-in Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducer can connect wirelessly to compatible networked Humminbird XPLORE, SOLIX G3 and APEX units, or by cable to compatible HELIX units. This enables Draw and Navigate™, Follow Mode and Intelligent Depth Control™. Draw and Navigate follows a route drawn on the sounder at the selected speed; Follow Mode follows a shoreline or depth contour, while Intelligent Depth Control warns of shallow water and can stop the boat automatically using Spot-Lock® and a Minn Kota Raptor or Talon shallow-water anchor. Lakemaster or AutoChart charts are required for Follow Mode. Always use Minn Kota’s 60A fuse. A quick-release mount and power plug are also recommended. The motor is for freshwater use and can be controlled by foot pedal, wireless micro remote, compatible sounder or phone app.
