Minn Kota Riptide Terrova is a bow-mounted trolling motor with functions intended to make fishing easier. The Riptide models are adapted for saltwater use, with acid-resistant fittings and a surface treatment on the motor that withstands the harsher environment. Spot-Lock® holds the boat’s position using GPS, while JOG lets you move the anchoring position with a few button presses without setting a new Spot-Lock. Autopilot maintains the selected course, and Drift Mode lets you decide where the boat should drift regardless of wind and currents. The motor can be connected wirelessly to compatible Minn Kota and Humminbird fish finders*. This enables Draw and Navigate™, Follow Mode and Intelligent Depth Control™. These functions allow the motor to follow a drawn route, the shoreline or a depth contour, and warn if the boat drifts into shallow water. If no action is taken, the boat stops automatically using Spot-Lock® and a Minn Kota Raptor or Talon shallow-water anchor. A Minn Kota 60A fuse must always be used.
