Summary

Bow-mounted saltwater trolling motor with Spot-Lock®, JOG, Autopilot and Drift Mode. Wireless Humminbird connectivity adds route, follow and depth control.

Productinformation

Minn Kota Riptide Terrova is a bow-mounted trolling motor with features that make fishing easier. Riptide models are adapted for saltwater use with acid-resistant fittings and a surface treatment on the motor that withstands the harsher environment. Spot-Lock® uses GPS to hold the boat’s position accurately, while JOG lets you move the anchoring position with a few button presses. Autopilot maintains the chosen course, and Drift Mode lets you decide where the boat drifts, regardless of wind and current. Connect the motor wirelessly to a compatible Minn Kota fish finder to access Draw and Navigate™, Follow Mode and Intelligent Depth Control™. Draw and Navigate™ follows routes drawn on the screen at the desired speed. Follow Mode follows a shoreline or depth contour on the chart. Intelligent Depth Control™ warns if the boat drifts into shallow water; if no action is taken, Spot-Lock® and a shallow-water anchor such as Minn Kota Raptor or Talon stop the boat. Always use Minn Kota’s 60A fuse. A quick-release bracket and electrical connector are also recommended. Wireless connection applies to network-compatible Humminbird XPLORE, SOLIX G3 and APEX; network-compatible HELIX requires a cable. Follow Mode requires LakeMaster or AutoChart charts.
