Minn Kota Riptide Powerdrive 2 24V

Minn Kota Riptide Powerdrive is a bow-mounted trolling motor with features intended to make fishing easier. Riptide models are adapted for saltwater use with acid-resistant fittings and a motor coating that withstands the harsher environment. Spot-Lock® uses GPS anchoring to hold the boat’s position accurately, while Autopilot maintains the selected course. Drift Mode lets you choose where the boat should drift, regardless of wind and currents. When connected wirelessly to a compatible Minn Kota echo sounder*, additional functions become available, including Draw and Navigate™, which follows a route drawn on the screen at the selected speed, and Follow Mode, which follows a shoreline or depth contour shown on the chart**. Intelligent Depth Control™ warns if the boat drifts into shallow water. If no action is taken, the boat stops automatically using Spot-Lock® and a shallow-water anchor such as Minn Kota Raptor or Talon. Adding a heading sensor enables JOG, allowing the anchoring position to be moved with a few button presses without setting a new Spot-Lock. The motor must always be installed with Minn Kota’s 60A fuse. A quick-release bracket and electrical connector are also recommended. Compatible Humminbird echo sounders* connect wirelessly with XPLORE, SOLIX G3 and APEX, or by cable with a network-compatible HELIX. LakeMaster or AutoChart charts are required for Follow Mode**.
