Megabass Live-X Model 1

Megabass Live-X Model 1 is a high-tech search crankbait equipped with the LBO II-system for extreme casting distance, fast start-up and a vivid, flashing action. This modern version of one of Megabass’ classic early 90s lures is neither a pure shad, minnow nor crank, but a dedicated search concept designed to wake up even passive fish. Thanks to the internal LBO II-system (PAT.), the lure delivers ultra-quick flash and a stable, lively action from ultra-slow retrieve all the way up to very high speed – without losing its balance or blowing out.

Live-X is purpose-built to trigger hard reaction bites from neutral fish that have refused both standard cranks and jerkbaits like ONETEN. The action is high frequency, natural and lifelike rather than overly aggressive, making it ideal when you are targeting pressured and picky fish that have seen a lot of lures. It excels as a search lure for perch, zander and pike in both clear and lightly coloured water, whether you fish it with a straight retrieve, stop-and-go or subtle twitches with the rod tip.

The aerodynamic body, developed by Yuki Ito after extensive wind tunnel work and casting tests, provides up to around 30% longer casts in headwind compared to traditional lures in the same size.
