Lamson Speedster S Battleship is a modern super arbor fly reel designed for anglers who want high retrieve speed without adding unnecessary weight to the setup. The large diameter spool gives rapid line pick-up, ideal when you need to quickly clear slack or keep contact with fast-running fish.

The reel body and spool are fully machined from 6061 aluminium, with material removed wherever possible to reduce weight while maintaining strength and rigidity. Stainless steel components and Lamson’s Hard Alox finish provide high resistance to wear and corrosion, well suited for both freshwater and tougher environments.

The sealed conical drag system is fully enclosed from dirt and water, giving a smooth and consistent braking performance with low start-up inertia. This helps protect fine leaders and gives reliable pressure throughout the fight.
