Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X - Size 4

Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X is a stepped-up version of the classic Wide Gape pattern, with thicker gauge wire and a finer, sharper point than the standard ‘X’ hook. The Kamakura sharpening process produces a point comparable to a hand-sharpened hook, without the time and effort required to sharpen it yourself. Due to the delicate points, the hook may need replacing after every fish. It features a slightly in-turned eye, short shank, heavily forged bend and beaked point. The hook can be used with a wide variety of pop-up and bottom bait presentations, and once set, it tends to stay in. Each point is protected by a blob of wax, which must be carefully removed before use. The hooks are supplied in a box that holds each one securely in place, with ten hooks per box. Barbed-only versions are available in sizes 4, 6 and 8.
