Illex PEPPER S 2252 M-MH SILVER OPS is the most powerful rod in the PEPPER series, designed by Gael Even for beefed up finesse tactics on zander, big perch, light pike and inshore sea fishing. At 225 cm and in two sections, it offers excellent casting distance while keeping precise control of your lures and clear bite indication at all ranges.

The blank has a fast action across the lower three quarters and a slightly softer tip section. This combination gives accurate casting, solid hook sets and the sensitivity needed for working a wide range of hardbaits and softbaits. It handles surface lures such as BONNIE, RISER BAIT and CHATTERBEAST, as well as minnows and cranks like WATER MONITOR, STREAM RIPPER, RERANGE, RV MINNOW, BATTLE MINNOW and SQUIRREL models.

The rod is equally suited to straight-line softbait work with MAGIC SLIM SHAD, MAGIC FAT SHAD and MAGIC Z SHAD on jig heads, plus traction-style presentations with NITRO SHAD and NITRO SLIM SHAD. It also casts blade baits and casting jigs like DERACOUP, RUNNER BLADE and SILVER SHADE for active searching over structure or open water.

Built on the latest X5 high-modulus carbon blank with multi-axial prepreg, the PEPPER S 2252 M-MH SILVER OPS is light, responsive and powerful. FUJI TORZITE TITANIUM K guides minimise tangles and protect braided line, while the FUJI VSS reel seat provides a secure and comfortable grip. Supplied in a Cordura tube with a protective rod bag.
