IFISH Gator Head 16g

IFISH Gator Head 16g is a soft rubber frog imitation made for surface fishing after pike in weedy or shallow areas. The body is weed protected, so it slips through reeds, lily pads and grass where traditional lures easily snag. Fish it over hot spots, along reed edges or over weed beds where pike hunt upwards.

Vary the retrieve speed and add spin stops to make the lure pause and sink slightly, often triggering following fish to strike. A ring for treble hook is placed under the body, between the hooks, giving the option to add an extra stinger if the pike nip short. At 16 g and 77 mm it casts well on medium-heavy gear and is easy to control on both spinning and baitcasting setups.
